Days of Dialogue
Days of Dialogue are an extension of the
Parenting Class series
and are held at the end of each series. This is a
crucial time to stay connected to the principles of
nonviolent parenting and create a community of
support.
A Day of Dialogue is a community gathering where
parents, youth, professionals, and community members
gain support and encouragement in the journey of
nonviolent child raising and connect with the wider
vision of nonviolent
Philosophy and Practice. This includes
discussions and presentations of different
strategies and ways of coping with the challenges of
caring for children.
Childcare is provided
for free during class hours. Our caretakers are an
integral part of our program, trained in the
Non-violent teachings and support both parents and
children.
Days of Dialogue are held in English and Spanish
with simultaneous translation.
Fees
Class fees are on a sliding scale from $10 - $30.
Rates are discounted for couples.
No one is turned away for lack of funds.
Cash or check accepted. Checks payable to: CNVEP.
