Welcome to CNVEP
Welcome to the Center
for Nonviolent Education and Parenting. As you will
see on our website, we are dedicated to caring for
children with the deepest of respect for their
dignity as a full human being. We use the term
"nonviolent" to signify loving children
unconditionally, supporting them to grow into adults
who know the meaning of caring for themselves and
for others. We value the commitment parents,
teachers and other professionals make to consciously
reflect on the process of raising children.
We seek hope in a time when we are concerned about
the world our children will inherit. But everyday, I
feel hope as parents, teachers, professionals are
able to nurture and guide deeply from the heart. I
feel touched when I know that CNVEP has offered a
place of learning, questioning and change for those
who are doing the hardest job of all, raising
people!!
Please, take the time to
learn about us! We enjoy connecting with your
commitment to children. Together we will make a more
peaceful world, something that we all dream to have
for the future generations.
