Volunteer Opportunities
Mentoring
We are seeking parents who have completed the parenting
class series at CNVEP who would enjoy mentoring new
parents who come for the first time. We want newcomers
to have an “orientation” to the philosophy before they
join the class and to have a person to connect with for
additional support. We will have a training and give
ongoing support to our mentors. What a great opportunity
to share what you have learned and at the same time to
enhance your own practice through teaching others!
Fundraising
Do you enjoy working on events? Meeting like minded
people? Helping CNVEP?
We need various volunteers to prepare for our
fundraising the events, as well as, during the events.

Emailing
Are you a social E-butterfly? Help expand our outreach
efforts by forwarding e-mail announcements to friends or
internet based networks. For more information or to
share your contacts, please e-mail Diana Ayala at
diana@cnvep.org.
Library Assistant
Our volunteer, Lee Lipinski, needs volunteers to
categorize books in our resource library. The hours are
flexible and would require a few hours a week until the
project is complete.
Translators/Interpreters
Are you an experienced ASL or Spanish translator/or
interpreter? CNVEP has budgeted funds for these
positions as part of our parent education program. |
